Introducing PASE

Performers and Artists for Social Equity is an association of musicians, vocalists, artists, dancers, and other creatively inclined people who are concerned about the well-being of all of our friends and neighbors.  The mission of PASE is to come together and enjoy music, and raise awareness of some of our favorite social charities.  For our first pilot event, we will be collecting donations to be sent to Ohio ACLU.

Suggested donation is $10; all proceeds will go to Ohio ACLU.  There will be a brief presentation introducing our organization, and explaining a little about the ACLU for those who might not be familiar with their work.  A modest reception will follow the program.

Musical Program

The Bhakti Mamas

-- short break

The Clintonville Quartet

-- short break, and brief PASE presentation

Members of Brave Weather

-- reception

The Bhakti Mamas — Abby Dorn and Holly Moretti — lead sacred singing/kirtan, offering a grounding and uplifting participatory musical and spiritual experience.

The Clintonville Quartet is a local group of classically trained professional musicians.  The four of us — Tom Fetherston, violin, Devin Copfer, violin, Dee Dee Fancher, viola, and Jane Van Voorhis — found ourselves living within just a few blocks of each other, and said "why not?"  Well, so Devin lives a little farther south.

Brave Weather is a Columbus band, offering vocally-focused emotional harmonies backed by a versatile band; a fusion of folk, blues, prog rock and a little reggae.
